Our Last Gravel/Adventure training session will be held on Saturday December 07th
If you are looking to Up Skill or Further Improve on those existing skills, we will host our Last Session for You on Saturday the 07th December.  Our venue will be RiverHead Forest.  We are very fortunate to be able to provide Gravel Road Riding skills along with Basic Adventure Bike Skills inside of a very safe environment.  Looking to participate?   Contact us via our Contact Form on our web page

  • Our NEW Season of 2014,  we will look to host Gravel/Adventure/Off Road training sessions from NEW Taupo based locations.
  • Where Would YOU Like to Take Your ADVenture Bike?
  • We will provide YOU with skills to enjoy much more than you thought possible with your Adventure Bike
  • We will keep you posted and Deposits will Secure your Placings.
  • Will include Big Bike Off Road Coaching over well suited Ride Terrain also

  Off Road/OverLand Big Adventure Bike Coaching

For those NEW to taking their bikes Off The Road or looking to further the basic skills required for further enjoyment on Off Road Pumice Based Tracks/Trails/Basic Farm Sections - These NEW Courses will be available in the NEW 2014 Season also. 
  • Your Deposit will secure your placing
  • Small Group Focus to keep all Courses Manageable
  • Our Courses geared and tailored for those with Big Adventure Bikes
  • Will be a FULL Day of combined terrain well suited to Big Adventure Bike Riders
  • Correct tyre choice will be essential

Looking for a casual Kaipara based Gravel Road Ride?

This Gravel Road Ride will be FREE for Ride Group members and will be $20 for NON Ride Group Members
 

 

 
Memberships can now be purchased for our 2014 Season.    If you wish to purchase a New Season Membership, these can now be purchased in preparation for the coming NEW 2014 Season of NGARNZ Adventures.


NEW Membership Cards are being printed over the Xmas/New Year Season and will be mailed to those who have taken out their NEW Memberships already.

This Regions hosts large festivals over the October Labour Weekend, and as such accommodation was extremely scarce and also extremely expensive with surcharges and other add ons.  When we originally planned this Tour we thought to keep numbers small owing to the large kms that this Tour will cover,  both on and off road terrain.  This number being reached earlier than expected it then became difficult to obtain reasonable priced additional accommodation.  For the 2014 Season we have now secured accommodation for 40 bed spaces, so we are well covered.


Our Heartland Tour will cater for Intermediate to Advanced Level Riders and will offer large km riding days over our weekend in this Region.

November Adventures

Last Saturday I attended a days gravel road training with Jim and Sue.  I confess to having felt somewhat nervous about what I'd  let myself in for.  I've been out of motorcycling for over 30 years and had only just recently purchased a bike - a BMW 1200gs.  I am still coming to grips with my new bike and the thought of riding such a heavy bike on gravel was scary.  I need not have worried.  Jim and Sue and their helpers were wonderful.  We were led through a progression of exercises designed to build our confidence and skills.  There was no pressure and at any stage if we did not feel confident to try there was no pressure applied.  Looking back on the training day now, I learned heaps, grew in my confidence and skills and overall the day was a blast!  Thanks Jim and Sue.   PS. Several of our Attendees were unable to attend our Saturday the 05th October training session.  We will host one last catch up training session before the end of this Season which will be Sunday 03rd November.  Our venue will be RiverHead Forest.  This will be a full day of exercises that will be tailored to suit our Ride Attendees and their various skills and requests.  If you would like to brush up or hone in on those existing skills contact us to Register.
